Summary
This early-stage study tests the safety of a device called ENC-201-CED in 10 people with type 1 diabetes who are receiving a transplant of insulin-producing cells (islets). The device is placed under the skin to hold and protect the transplanted cells. The main goal is to see if the device is safe and well-tolerated.
