NCT ID NCT06445504

First seen May 08, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study looks at how well a new robotic system (Hugo™) works for fixing inguinal and ventral hernias. About 206 adults will have surgery with this robot, and doctors will check for problems like infections or bleeding for up to 30 days after. The goal is to see if the robot helps avoid switching to other surgery methods.
