NCT ID NCT06000683

First seen Feb 03, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study tested a program to help more people at high risk for lung cancer get a low-dose CT scan, which can catch the disease early and save lives. The program included notifying doctors, educating patients, offering financial help, and reminding patients to talk about screening during their visit. 79 people aged 50-80 with a heavy smoking history took part. The goal was to see if these steps increased the number of screening orders and completed scans within six months.
