First seen Mar 08, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tests whether a short virtual reality (VR) program can increase empathy in nursing assistants working in long-term care facilities. About 100 participants will either experience VR sessions showing residents' lives plus group discussions, or continue with usual care. The goal is to see if this approach improves how caregivers understand and connect with the elderly.
