Summary
This study tested whether empagliflozin, a diabetes medication, lowers blood pressure more than other oral diabetes drugs in people with type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure. 300 adults took either empagliflozin or another diabetes pill for 12 weeks. Researchers measured blood pressure changes from start to end to see which group had better results.
