Can tapping ease Women's procedure fears?

NCT ID NCT07348068

Summary

This study tested whether a mind-body technique called the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), which involves gentle tapping on specific points, could help reduce pain and anxiety. It involved 132 postmenopausal women who were about to undergo a minor uterine procedure called probe curettage. Researchers measured the women's pain levels, anxiety, and vital signs like heart rate and blood pressure to see if EFT made a difference.
