Summary
This study tests a short, virtual program (6 sessions) designed to prevent long-term emotional distress in people recently diagnosed with young onset dementia (before age 65) and their care-partners. About 388 pairs will participate. The program focuses on building coping skills and resilience to improve well-being and quality of life for both the patient and their care-partner.
