First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated Jun 22, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study tests whether teaching emotion regulation skills can help families who live apart (one parent in Hong Kong, the other in Shenzhen) build resilience and reduce conflict. About 450 parent-child pairs will either receive training in skills like mindfulness and cognitive reappraisal or a control program. Researchers will measure changes in resilience, emotion regulation, and family harmony.
