Mindset makeover: can a 25-Minute lesson rewire teen emotions?
NCT ID NCT03978871
First seen May 20, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026
Summary
This study looked at whether teaching adolescent girls that emotions can change (a 'growth mindset') helps them handle emotions better. 163 girls aged 13-18 took a short computer lesson, then did stressful tasks while their brain activity was measured. The goal was to see if a growth mindset leads to healthier emotional processing, not to treat any disease.
