First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study will see if adding electromagnetic field therapy to standard physical therapy helps people with leg weakness (paraparesis) improve their balance and walking. Thirty adults with spinal cord injuries will be split into two groups: one gets real electromagnetic therapy plus physical therapy, the other gets a fake device plus physical therapy. After two months, researchers will measure changes in muscle stiffness, balance, and walking patterns.
