First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study aimed to see if the drug emetine could help people with COVID-19 feel better faster and avoid hospitalization. It was designed for adults 30 and older with mild to moderate symptoms. However, the trial was stopped early after only 4 people enrolled, so we cannot say if emetine works or is safe based on this study.
