Texts vs. calls: can simple reminders ease crowded emergency rooms?
NCT ID NCT07447674
Summary
This study aims to reduce emergency room crowding by improving how patients connect with doctors after leaving. It will test if sending text and email reminders helps discharged patients contact a telemedicine team faster to discuss their lab results. The goal is to see if this new communication method works better than the current standard of just a phone call.
