NCT ID NCT07423832
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tested whether Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy can help adults with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in Jordan. 70 people with moderate to severe PTSD symptoms were randomly assigned to receive EMDR from a psychiatric nurse or to a waitlist. The therapy aimed to reduce symptoms like intrusive memories and anxiety. Results were measured right after treatment and one month later to see if improvements lasted.
