Summary
This study tested a behavioral therapy called EMD-U for people with atopic dermatitis (eczema) or prurigo nodularis who scratch severely. 96 adults were randomly assigned to receive either EMD-U plus usual care or usual care alone. The goal was to see if EMD-U improved skin-related quality of life over 8 weeks. The therapy focuses on changing scratching habits.
