New study aims to boost IVF success by choosing the right embryo
NCT ID NCT03806153
First seen Feb 22, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study compares two ways to pick the best embryo for IVF: the standard method (looking at shape) versus a newer method that also tracks how fast the embryo grows. Researchers want to see which approach leads to more live births. About 520 couples doing their first or second IVF cycle will take part.
