First seen Apr 02, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study tests whether removing small, unwanted fragments from embryos on day 4 of development can help more embryos grow into healthy blastocysts and lead to more pregnancies. About 320 women undergoing IVF will be randomly assigned to have their embryos cleaned or left alone. The goal is to see if this simple procedure improves the chances of having a baby.
