Summary
This early-phase trial tests whether adding emapalumab to standard medications can safely prevent graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) in 15 adults with leukemia or myelodysplastic syndrome receiving a reduced-intensity donor stem cell transplant. Emapalumab blocks a protein that drives inflammation, while the other drugs suppress the immune system to protect the patient's body. The study focuses on safety and side effects, not cure.
