New drug combo aims to keep High-Risk myeloma in check

NCT ID NCT06947083

First seen Dec 11, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study tests whether the drug elranatamab, given after CAR-T cell therapy (cilta-cel), can help people with high-risk relapsed myeloma live longer without their cancer getting worse. About 39 participants who have already received CAR-T therapy will take elranatamab as a maintenance treatment. The goal is to see if this approach delays disease progression in patients whose myeloma is harder to treat.
