New drug combo aims to keep high-risk myeloma in check

Summary
This study tests if the drug elranatamab, given before and after a stem cell transplant, can better control high-risk multiple myeloma. About 40 adults with newly diagnosed, high-risk disease will receive the drug to reduce cancer cells before transplant and then as maintenance therapy afterward. The goal is to improve disease control, not to cure, as ongoing management is expected.
