New drug aims to douse the fire of menopause for thousands of women
NCT ID NCT07490431
Summary
This study is gathering real-world information on how well a new, non-hormonal medication called elinzanetant works for women experiencing disruptive menopause symptoms like hot flashes and night sweats. Researchers will follow about 1,500 women in the U.S. who are starting this medication as part of their regular doctor's care. The goal is to see how the treatment affects their symptoms, sleep, and daily life over 12 weeks to 2 years, using phone apps and, for some, a smart ring to track sleep.
