New eye Drug's early effects under the microscope in wet AMD study

NCT ID NCT07434713

First seen Mar 11, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study is observing 50 people with wet age-related macular degeneration (AMD) to see how quickly a high-dose eye injection (Eylea 8mg) dries up fluid in the retina. Researchers will use special scans to measure fluid changes and vision improvements over the first two months. The goal is to better understand early treatment response, not to test a new cure.
