Scientists probe hidden effects of electric tumor treatment

Summary
This study aims to understand what changes happen in and around melanoma skin tumors after a treatment called electrochemotherapy. Researchers will take small tissue samples from tumors before and after treatment in about 150 patients to look for changes in immune cells and blood vessels. The goal is to learn more about how this established local treatment works beyond just killing cancer cells.
