Needle therapy trial aims to stop repeat bladder infections
NCT ID NCT07507851
Summary
This study is testing whether a form of acupuncture using mild electrical stimulation can help prevent recurrent bladder infections in women. Researchers will compare the real electroacupuncture treatment to a fake, or 'sham,' version in over 300 participants. The main goal is to see if the treatment reduces the number of infections over six months and is safe for patients.
