Zap away cancer fatigue? study tests electric acupuncture
NCT ID NCT05283577
Summary
This study is testing whether a form of acupuncture that uses a mild electrical current can help manage common symptoms experienced by cancer patients and survivors. The goal is to see if it can reduce fatigue, memory problems, insomnia, and distress, and improve quality of life. Researchers will compare real electroacupuncture to a 'sham' version and measure symptoms, quality of life, and certain blood markers over 14 weeks.
