Summary
This study tests two types of electroacupuncture (continuous vs. intermittent pulses) to see if they help people with Bell's palsy recover facial movement. About 111 adults who have had facial paralysis for 3 weeks to 6 months will receive 12 sessions over 4 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in facial nerve function and muscle activity using a scale and surface electromyography.
