First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study tests whether a headband that sends mild electrical pulses behind the ears can reduce anxiety in teens aged 12-17 with Generalized Anxiety Disorder. About 60 participants will use either the active device or a sham (inactive) device for 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week, over 4 weeks. The goal is to see if this non-invasive, drug-free approach can safely ease anxiety symptoms.
