Zap your pain away? study tests electric therapy after surgery

NCT ID NCT07287657

Summary

This study is testing if adding electrical stimulation therapy to standard pain medication helps people recover better after lung cancer surgery. Researchers want to see if this combination reduces pain, lowers body inflammation, and improves quality of life more than medication alone. The study will involve 90 patients who are having a specific type of minimally invasive chest surgery.
