New study tests better ways to loosen stiff elbows after fractures

NCT ID NCT07598526

First seen May 20, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study will test if adding a special hands-on technique (myofascial release) to standard joint mobilization helps people with stiff elbows after a broken bone heal better. Thirty adults with limited elbow movement and mild to moderate pain will receive either joint mobilization alone or combined with myofascial release over 4 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in pain, range of motion, and daily function to see which approach works best.
