NCT ID NCT07394036

First seen Feb 06, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a medication called ipratropium bromide can reduce shortness of breath during exercise in children and teens with Exercise-Induced Laryngeal Obstruction (EILO). About 50 participants will receive either the drug or a placebo and then exercise. Researchers will measure breathlessness and video-record the airway to see if the drug helps keep the throat open during activity.
