NCT ID NCT06465888
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 32 times
Summary
This study tested whether nutrients in eggs, like omega-3s and lutein, can improve visual thinking skills in healthy adults aged 50 to 75. Over 100 participants ate different amounts of whole eggs, egg whites, or egg yolks for two weeks, then completed a 3D computer test to measure their speed and accuracy. The goal was to see if eggs, especially those with extra omega-3s, could give a brain boost.
