First seen May 15, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study looked at whether Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), a therapy that involves tapping on specific body points, can reduce pain, change pain-related beliefs, and lower anxiety in people recovering from coronary artery bypass surgery. Researchers enrolled 66 adults and measured their pain, pain beliefs, and anxiety levels. The goal was to see if adding EFT to standard care improves recovery and quality of life.
