Healthy volunteers help uncover how breathing machines and body position impact vein flow

Summary

This study looks at how different breathing pressures and lying face-down (prone position) change blood flow in the veins of healthy adults. Researchers will use ultrasound to measure vein congestion. The goal is to better understand these effects, not to treat any disease. About 40 healthy volunteers aged 18 and older will take part.
