Sugar shock: new study probes sweet Treats' impact on eye health
NCT ID NCT07376005
First seen Jan 31, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study looks at how a single dose of sugar changes the thickness of a layer at the back of the eye called the choroid. Researchers will measure this change in 47 healthy adults who do not have diabetes or eye disease. The goal is simply to learn more about how sugar affects the eye, not to treat any condition.
