First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study looked at how two common sedatives, dexmedetomidine and remimazolam, affect body temperature in 122 adults having surgery with spinal anesthesia. The goal was to see which drug causes less hypothermia (low body temperature) and shivering. Results help doctors choose the safer option for keeping patients warm during and after surgery.
