Brain waves reveal how eczema cream works
NCT ID NCT07333300
First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This early-stage study will test whether a special headband can detect changes in brain activity related to pain, itching, and discomfort in 20 adults with mild to moderate eczema. Participants will have a single visit where a marketed skin product or water is applied, and their brain waves are measured. The goal is to learn how the product affects the brain's response, not to treat the condition.
