Summary
This study tested a sonic device called EDDY during root canal treatment in 40 adults with infected teeth but no symptoms. The device significantly reduced bacteria in the root canal compared to standard cleaning. However, it did not make a difference in pain after the procedure. The goal was to improve infection control and patient comfort.
