Summary
This pilot study aims to see if using the emergency department (ED) can help more people get screened for lung cancer. Researchers will use a computer tool to identify eligible patients during ED visits and test a personalized program to encourage screening. The goal is to overcome barriers like lack of trust, knowledge, or stigma that prevent people from getting this potentially life-saving scan.
