First seen Oct 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tests a new way to measure how much blood the heart pumps (cardiac output) using ultrasound from under the ribs. It involves 50 adults in the intensive care unit who already need an ultrasound. The goal is to see if this new method works as well as the standard one, potentially making heart monitoring easier and less invasive.
