First seen Apr 03, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This early-phase study tests a new treatment called EBV-TCR-T cells for people who develop an Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) infection after a stem cell transplant for blood cancer. The therapy uses specially engineered immune cells from the transplant donor to fight the virus. The main goal is to check safety and see if the treatment can lower virus levels in the blood.
