First seen Apr 28, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study will test if a program called 'Eat Well' helps veterans with high blood pressure and food insecurity. About 1,500 veterans in North Carolina will either get money for fruits and vegetables for 6 or 12 months, or standard care. Researchers will check if their blood pressure improves and if they need fewer hospital visits.
