First seen Apr 11, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This early study tested a new balloon-expandable heart valve system (TAVI) in 8 people with severe aortic stenosis who were at increased risk for surgery. The goal was to see if doctors could successfully deliver and use the device. The study is active but no longer recruiting, and results will help determine if the device works as intended.
