Simple phone calls and online groups could keep eating disorder patients from falling through the cracks
NCT ID NCT07411807
First seen Feb 19, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study tests whether offering early phone calls and online support groups to adults with eating disorders (like anorexia or bulimia) during their wait for specialized care can reduce the number of people who drop out before treatment starts. About 215 adults in the Paris region will receive this proactive support, and their engagement will be compared to past patients who did not get it. The goal is to help more people access care sooner and prevent their condition from worsening.
