Throat cancer trial tests which treatment saves voices best
NCT ID NCT07391345
Summary
This study compares three different treatments for early-stage vocal cord cancer to see which one best controls the tumor while preserving voice quality. Researchers will randomly assign 105 patients to receive either laser surgery, standard radiation, or more precise MRI-guided radiation. The main goal is to see which treatment keeps the cancer from coming back locally while also measuring how well patients can speak, swallow, and breathe after treatment.
