First seen Feb 18, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study looked at whether starting physiotherapy early is possible and helpful for people hospitalized with a first-time deep vein thrombosis (DVT) in the leg. Twenty-four adults took part, and researchers measured how many joined, how many dropped out, and if any side effects occurred. The goal is to see if adding physiotherapy to standard DVT care is safe and valuable for patients.
