First seen Mar 10, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study is testing whether starting pelvic floor physical therapy soon after radiation treatment can reduce bowel and bladder problems in women with cervical cancer. Twenty-eight women who are getting radiation to the pelvis will begin therapy four weeks after their radiation ends. The main goal is to see if this approach lowers the rate of accidental bowel leakage three months later.
