Summary

This study looked at whether starting palliative care early helps people with advanced upper gastrointestinal or colorectal cancer feel better. About 108 patients receiving chemotherapy were randomly assigned to either early or standard palliative care. Researchers measured quality of life, pain, anxiety, and survival to see if early support makes a difference.
