Study finds moving sooner after heart surgery may speed recovery
NCT ID NCT07276971
Summary
This study tested a new, safe plan to get patients moving earlier after heart bypass surgery. It involved 60 patients, with half following the new step-by-step movement plan starting the day of surgery. Researchers checked if this plan helped reduce dizziness when standing, lower anxiety, improve breathing, and shorten the hospital stay compared to usual care.
