Simple calls and online groups may keep eating disorder patients from dropping out
NCT ID NCT07411807
First seen Feb 19, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tests whether offering three early phone calls and five online support group sessions to adults with eating disorders (like anorexia or bulimia) during their wait for specialized care can reduce the number of people who drop out before starting treatment. About 215 adults from the Paris region will take part, and their results will be compared to past patients who did not receive this early support. The goal is to see if this low-cost, remote approach helps more people stay engaged and get the care they need.
