First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study will track 1,000 adults in French ICUs to understand why some patients are readmitted within 48 hours of discharge. Researchers will also measure how often beds are occupied by patients who are ready to leave but cannot due to lack of space elsewhere. The goal is to find patterns that could help hospitals discharge patients more safely and reduce strain on critical care units.
