NCT ID NCT07392788

First seen Feb 06, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study looks at whether giving a drug called dapagliflozin (a gliflozin) early in the emergency room can help elderly patients (75 and older) who are hospitalized for worsening chronic heart failure. The trial will include 144 participants across 6 hospitals. The main goal is to see if this approach is practical and acceptable, not yet to prove it works. Patients will be followed for 3 months to check their health and safety.
